We're looking for a Student Assistant to collaborate closely with our Digital team (10-15 hours a week). This is a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in AI data operations, image preprocessing, and project coordination, all while being part of a mission-driven company.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data workflows with data collection, annotation and maintenance of training datasets.
• Handle and operate image preprocessing for model training.
• Provide supervision and guidance to other student assistants on image capture-related tasks.
• Plan and monitor progress on AI-related projects; maintain task boards and timelines.
• Collaborate with the Digital team on a variety of tasks, such as assisting in QA/testing, documentation and process optimization.

What we're looking for

• Current Bachelor's or Master's student in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Some experience with Python and image processing tools (e.g. OpenCV, PIL) is a plus
• Some familiarity with task management tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Planner.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
• Leadership potential or prior experience guiding peers is a bonus
